Sat around all day with the foot propped up. Last Friday, I slipped and dropped the mower deck onto my big toe, breaking it and pulling off the nail. Infection set in and I ended up in the ER yesterday as I could not get ahead of it at home.
It would have been taken care of Monday if not for the WuFlu stupidity that closed down the local clinics. The ER visit will be considerably more than Urgent Care would have been and my clinic has closed its doors until September at the least. My doc may not even come back as he found someplace else to practice. I missed a day and a half of work so far but I think the antibiotics will have me good to go by Tuesday. At least I hope.
