Leupold did have a 1" Mark AR 3-9x40 with illumination. There were always illuminated VX3, III, iii, 1.5-5x20s.
Burris has, had, or will have a Fullfield II or maybe is, was or will be a Fullfield E1 illuminated 3-9. Can't locate right now at a reasonable price. I have one or two and think it very decent. Got at a hella bargain.
Hawke has/had many illuminated 1"options. I have an Endurance 4-12 that's seems adequate, although I like Leupold Firedot style better than anything else..
Sig Whysky 3 3-9x40 is available with some sorta illumination.
Bushnell Prime, whatever those are.
