Well that is cool. My '48 or '49 39A was taken down several times today. I found a minor problem and decided to clean the built up wax lube and oil from the corners of the action. Now I will have to detail some other areas. You will like the 39A Wilkeshunter. Lots of fun. Is the capacity something like 17 LRs and 21 shorts? I seem to remember those numbers. And remember to ignore the old saw about not having to clean a rimfire. Just don't overdo the rifling and be careful of the muzzle. I wonder how many rounds you can get out of a 39A?
