Unless you're confronted with a threat of death or serious bodily injury, keep it holstered.
True, but drawing the gun doesn't mean you are required to pull the trigger. Often aggressive conduct stops as the draw is in progress, for obvious reasons. At which point you're not privileged to shoot, but it would be foolish to reholster till you were sure you were safe.
