The situation America currently is in was baked in the cake when boatloads of Africans started being unloaded on its shores.
The American left has seemingly abandoned the melting pot idea. Assimilation is a good thing. A nation with a common value system is a good thing. Too much immigration is destructive, particularly from cultures that don't share our values.
