NM Colts aren't made for carry. They are made for competition and there are certain rules about what can and can't be altered.
Yes... that's why it has NM on the slide.
My post was FYI to the OP. to point out that a 1911 for general use would have different features.
I didn't get the impression he wanted to compete with it just asking for comparative info on 1911s in general.
