Honestly, most of the Ballistic Tips I have used have blown on thru and the ones that haven't have been excellent recoveries. I haven't done as much with Hornady's and know they're well respected for being reasonable in cost and performing very well, but the heavy for caliber Ballistic Tips have been some of the best Cup/Core non bonded bullets I have used.
