No different than a buy here pay here lot. Its predatory lending all around. I know an older gentleman that's made himself a comfortable millionaire over the years selling jalopies at 18% interest. Here's the problem. The same customers come back again and again over the years.
I'll also admit to using one once when i was young. I was trying to hold onto a job I really wanted one time. Economy was falling so it got pretty lean around the house. Got to the point i could fill the gas tank or have food for the week but not both. I paid it immediately after my next paycheck and ate noodles all week.
