Tonight, my dogs are chained up in the backyard barking. I'm hoping they draw one of the coyote family groups yapping at each other close enough to give me a shot. The one is about 400 yards out in the hayfield but is hanging up. The other is 3/8 or so of a mile to the east of the first group and about that distance from the house.

My first setter had this decoy thing down well. He would howl on command and whatever he said it brought coyotes in. All my dogs before and since combined have not brought in half the number of coyotes as he did. I still miss him greatly.
