I have not bought or used a hammer extension on mine. I've thought about it especially when I have gloves on. I haven't done it just because i think they're ugly. I don't hunt with mine much any more anyway. It's too pretty to bang around in the mule or my truck. I did take it out and kill two axis deer with it this past April. It's still just as accurate as it always was.
