Ejp1234: A little off topic but I have always had a hankerin for "Squirrel Stew"!
I have never eaten Squirrel but have talked to some folks/friends who have and they enjoy it.
In fact several years ago I was hired by some rich folks down Florida way and on my trip down and back (from/to Montana) I saw for the first time lots of HUGE Squirrels (compared to the ones I have seen in the PNW) in the hardwood forests that I traveled through.
This just piqued my desire to someday try Squirrel Stew.
I have eaten Porcupine, Rock Chuck, Mt. Goat, Black Bear, Deer, Elk, Antelope, Moose, Buffalo, Rattlesnake and Cougar so I am a bit adventurous when it comes to wild game meats.
