Dad ran Kelly for years on everything - swore by them - but those were ancient days. A few years ago I got an extra set of wheels and put 245/16 Kelly fairly aggressive snow tires on for 4 months of worst winter driving - took them off for the other 8 months - they were excellent in snow/ice and good in mud. Used them for several winters, including some long runs to MN. No longer live at rough winter level, so just dismounted them and gave two good ones to a buddy who uses a lot of used tires on trailers. I would do it again.
