I know it's come up now and then, but I'm in the market for a couple pairs of hunting pants.
Specifications .. I need a 36-38 inch waist, 29-30 inch inseam .. actual measurement, not advertised measurement. I'm 5'9", 200 pounds. I'm hunting in fairly warm conditions .. it's going to hit 80 here today.
So insulated stuff is out. At the same time, the super thin stuff is just as "out" 'cause it was 34 this morning. I'm a still hunter, pretty much walk all day. It is pretty steep .. Oregon Cascade range. I need a material that is durable, handles stick jabs, brush, etc.
Colors ... something that will blend somewhat with high elevation fir forest, camo made of darker gray, black, and maybe green, or solid dark green.
Ideas?
