I've had some very good results with Re17 and the 150 gr. Nosler partition. Winchester brass and WLR primers used in all loads. Groups were three shot groups.

47.0 gr./2710 FPS ES 26 FPS One inch group.

47.5 gr./2751 FPS ES 19 FPS One inch group.

48.0 gr./2813 FPS ES 30 FPS One inch group with two about 1/8" apart.

48.5gr./2847 FPS ES39 FPS .75" group with two almost one hole.

These were carefully worked up in a Winchester M70 Featherweight, 22" barrel. Average temperature that day during testing about 90 to 100 degrees. Al loads appear safe in my rifle. They have proved to be too hot in my custom Mauser but it shows higher velocities even with anemic factory ammo. I have yet to try them in a Ruger #1A in 7x57. Brass has been loaded about six times and primer pockets were still reasonably tight. I plan on working some more with the last two loads in the M70 and do a run starting with the 47.0 gr. load in the Ruger #1. With luck it too will like those loads.

Our forefathers did not politely protest the British. They did not vote them out of office, nor did they impeach the king, march on the capitol or ask permission for their rights. ----------------They just shot them.
