Custom model 70 in 338 federal. McMillan stock and Weaver Grand Slam 4.75 fixed power scope. Rifle was a 308 rebore done by Jesse. Shot a nice Missouri Whitetail with it yesterday evening at about 90 yards. Slightly quartering away and angled the bullet through the lungs and into the off shoulder. He stumbled about 10 or 12 yards and was dead. A factory Federal Fusion load of all things! I recovered the bullet bulging the skin high on the off side shoulder. Les
