My dad bought me a used 336 for my 8th grade graduation. Shot my first 2 bucks with that rifle and yes I still have it. First I ever bought with my own earned money was a SS Rem. model 700 30-06. One of the most accurate rifles I have ever owned and I still have it as well. I need to clean out a few but I don't do well with breakups and they usually turn nasty.............................................YMMV. Another neat fact is that of all of hundreds of critters i have been lucky enough to take with bow and rifle I have never used a factory built ammunition or arrows. Only in .22 and 12 guage have I used factory made ammo to take game.
