You should go by. I did and first told the salesman that I was a firearms enthusiast but not wealthy enough to be a prospective customer. I asked if it was OK to just look around.

He said "Looking doesn't cost anything. If you desire to handle any of the guns, please treat them like you intend to purchase them". He then spent a lot of time "Talking guns" with me. They had Tom Horn's revolver and he showed me the paperwork documenting it.

All in all, a very pleasant experience with a very nice salesman. If I ever hit it big, I'll go back and buy something!

FYI, I had a similar experience in Holland and Holland and the Beretta store in NYC.

Never hurts to ask!
