I would expect under 1.5" for 3 shots in that stock. I have a j lock version in 7-08 that shot most everything around 1.5" or so in the factory tupperware with forend pressure. Since swapping to a Bansner it seems to have tightened up a good bit with the stiffer stock and free float. I keep telling myself I dont need another M7 or 243 but at that price my willpower is getting weak.

These are H.S Precision stocks, a goodly bit better than Tupperware.


That was my point. The HS should shoot better than the factory tupperware, which by the way are heavy as hell. I dropped over 12 oz in weight going from the tupperware to the finished Bansner and thats including a 1" limbsaver. Remington could have done much better than they did with the 38 oz tupperware.

If one wanted a stainless compact 243 this may be the best option for the money unless they wanted a sheep rifle.


These are not compact. They are 13.5 LOP.
