I shot a small VA doe weeks ago using a H&R Handi rifle rechambered to 357 Maximum. The bullet is an Accurate 220gr LHP cast 20-1. I load it light with 9.0gr of Viht Tin Star for 1160fps. Two does walked toward me from across the field. One stopped below my stand and as I was moving my rifle around the stand I noticed the other one standing broadside at 20 yds looking away from me. At the shot she jumped straight up and ran 30yds. She dropped 15ft into the woods. The field dressing and skinning work revealed the bullet had expanded and penetrated all the way through the small deer. I ate right up to the hole. smile
