From what I have seen the 308 does have the 26” barrel. The pics show a thread cap and the description states a brake is standard. Hopefully without a brake it is 24”. I do plan to hunt it and would love to make it my go to, all around rifle. I have a Cabelas / Meopta 3-9 ready for it. I was thinking a Warne Mtn Tech rail. Not sure on rings yet.
