Hyperlite Mountain Gear in Biddeford, Maine, makes some great, extremely light packs and other gear. They have a stuff sack that doubles as a soft pillow -- nylon on one side and fleece on the other. Fleece inside for packing, fleece outside for sleeping. Comfortable with no extra weight to carry. Made in the USA!
^ they also make the stuff sack/pillows in DCF, I have one that I pack clothing with and then use as my "knee pillow" - I don't think with the zipper that's it's 100% waterproof, but pretty darn close
