Went and test drove a used 2017 expedition with 3.5 ecoboost yesterday. 50k miles. It was 40 miles away at a big lexus dealership. Took it on trade super clean.The sales guy had it running when i got there. Would have prefered to hear it cold start. Do not know if he was trying to make it warm iside or hide something. There was noticeable chatter sound from the engine as I walked up to the front of it. Not clunking or ticking but a sound my insticts tell me not quite right. Valves, turbos timing, ? Ran like a scaled cat no idiot lights. I like the car and would buy except for this. Any eco boost owners got any ideas. Any tests I could ask for?
