I've assumed for awhile that mitchie has a personal, genuine disdain for President Trump and he's been waiting for an opportunity to take him out. This is that opportunity. mitchie just got re-elected, can take President Trump off the playing field for good, and likely with little repercussion. Or at least that's his calculation.
I hope you're right. At this stage, I think if President Trump was going to drop a document bomb, he'd have done it by now. Even if he wants to, he may not have anyone who will actually pull the lever for him.
