The rifle is one of the earliest that I bought. Probably #3 in my collection. I got it at a gun show in Augusta, Ga. It's really clean. It came with the tang sight. I can't remember shooting it with the tang sight but scoped it with a normal scope and shot it some a long time ago. The lever must be zip tied from when I displayed it with my collection at collector gun shows.
The base is notched for the cocking indicator. Got lucky on that one.
Maybe I can find a picatinny rail to screw around the skinny barrel for some more accessories.
Don, there is no cheek weld when sighting with the iron sights. But assault rifles are area weapons anyway. Just point it in the general area of the target and spray bullets. Maybe I should get it rebarreled to 5.56.
