China’s first move during Biden’s time will be to retake Taiwan.
I'd guess this for a second or third move, but I agree that it's coming.
First move. It makes a big point. Solidifies their position of dominance in the world when they can do this with no pushback from anyone in the world.
It would if it happened that way, but it won't be like that.
Biden won't revoke current military policy in the short term as it would make him look weak. And our current policy would elicit a robust military response to an attempt on Taiwan.
I suspect that Taiwan will fall when there is no one left to defend them. Enter regional conflict in Korea, Iran, etc...
