Cases in the chamber wont affect the trigger pull, and its OK to dry fire a 700...that said, the Pro trigger is a piece of schitt on its best day, and you'll be lucky to dry fire a few times before it breaks. Had another that broke at the screw before it was ever fired...

Had two more than never got the chance...I removed them before I took the gun out.



The two X Mark Pro "adjustable" triggers I've had/have don't adjust. No matter how far I screwed that little set screw in or out. Hysterical.
But they were both at 4.5 lbs, and one was fairly crisp. But yeah, both were replaced before I ever shot the rifles........
