They’re out there. Ran into one at the grocery store on Saturday. Bill was $18.18. Handed her a $20. She started ringing up and I said here...I have two dimes.
You would have thought I had asked her to solve a calculus equation. Fifteen minutes later with the help of management...I finally got out of there with my $2.02 in change. 😖
So, you’re one of those guys, huh? Question is, were you trying to avoid a pocketful of coins, or hoping for a little fun? Someone stuck working a register might already be at the peak of their capabilities. Show some mercy.
