Other than poor handling of mirage and bad atmospherics, and image distortion as the erector goes more than a few MRAD from mechanical center, there’s nothing wrong with the glass in the DMRII, it’s the reticle that is far from ideal for low-light hunting when on low magnification. Illumination can make up for it, but the G3 lacks the solid posts of the LRHS to help bracket the target.
