Unfortunately, LOTS of people still believe everything they see on TV (including 60 minutes) as absolute truth. They still watch the NBC evening "news", they still suck up every bit of crap they see on the morning shows..... "they wouldn't lie to us! Why, if it weren't true, they couldn't say it on TV, right???".
