I had never heard of Detroit pizza until a year or so ago. Place over in Tacoma makes a hell of a good pizza they call Detroit style.

It's absolutely killer.

Typically I like a thinner crust with a nice bit of char, but that Tacoma pie is great eats.

Costco sells frozen Detroit style pizzas that are pretty good.
