For normal easy to find over the counter stuff styptic pencil / powder works best but many years ago as a teenager at the little neighborhood hot dog / hamburger / Italian roast beef restaurant I worked we used ordinary table sugar to help stop bleeding quick from cuts.
It's good to know of something handy for minor cuts.
As a customer, I would hope you guys called off early though. Lol.
That powder is the old straight razor standard.
It stings, but beats bleeding.
I've found Cream of Tartar and baking soda helps when thats not available too.
