This spring 5 Oregon counties are voting on whether to leave OR and join ID. Even if it passes, the OR government has to agree and I can't see that happening. Then both Idaho and congress have to agree. I haven't heard much lately about what CA thinks about it. The obstacles in front of this are huge.
It would be interesting for Idaho to have ocean frontage.
