Pop had three boys. Every two weeks he got those clippers and buzzed us sitting on a stool in the carport. I was a junior in high school when I finally got to go to the barber shop and get a cut that allowed a little more hair. He grumbled, but I paid for it and just got in line behind him at the shop. (I often offered to buzz his and save those pennies, but that was a no go...)
