I’ll happily use a rifle, but don’t want a turkey donut, so shot placement or load choice matters to me. I think a .36-.40 roundball is about ideal. Working on something along those lines now.
Not at all interested in them as big feathery “groundhogs”. Too much good meat there, and no challenge at all. I’m a jackass, but have limits.
