Nothing ever goes back to the way it was.
It didn't after the Civil War, WW1, the 1918 Flu Epidemic, the Great Depression, Prohibition, Pearl Harbor, WW2, Nine-Eleven, the 2008 bank crash, etc.....
But, things do rebound and get better.
Unfortunately, something that never seems to go away are the delusional conspiracy theorists and the propaganda manure shovellers.
