I'm also a fan of the traditional Weavers. They are about the lightest and can be the lowest of all options, and seem to hold zero very well. I also like the older large knobs too, which, in combination with the bases (and pushing the rings forward as you tighten them, make for a hand-detachable scope which returns very well to zero.
