I shoot factory ammo so it is pretty easy to get good zero off a sandbag and a sock full of dried peas for a rear rest. I only use the bench for zeroing. If no bench is available I will confirm my zero off a pack from prone w/ the same rear bag.

In case of an emergency I can make soup.
