Thanks for the suggestion, Rufus. I did go over there to look at completed auctions and saw that spread in final prices. That's quite a range in value. At least one of those guns had some significant character marks.
I guess I'll have to look at the barrel lengths and other features in some detail to see if there's any rhyme or reason.
