Seems like a lot of gun for a beav and pretty much guarantees to sink them with a hole that big. A buddy had a place up north that the beavers practically made into an island, so something needed doing. Since this is the Savage Forum, a scoped Savage M24-DL .22 Win. Mag from a tree stand overlooking the pond worked nicely. Head shots glanced off with hollow points, but neck shots floated them nicely. Problem solved.
