That is gonna send electric shocks up your hand and lower arm for a loooooong time when it heals up.

This is true. When I cut the tips of 2 fingers off when I was a kid, that was the case. They sewed them back on (kinda), but it took quite a while for that crazy feeling to go away. Word to the wise, don't go trying to catch any footballs or jam them for a while.
