I came across a Husqvarna in 9.3x62 at a gun show today that if it shows up the next show I might jump on. It had the Mauser 3-position safety, was not drilled and tapped for a scope, and had what appeared to be a ghost ring rear sight on the rear bridge of the action. It did have the stripper clip slots. I don't remember seeing the FN logo on the action. I really didn't take a lot of time looking at it as I was headed back to my own booth.
I'm guessing in the stock had been replaced because it looked laminated. I know prices tend to be marked up at gun shows but was $695 in or out of the ballpark? Also, would be a a sacrilege to have it drilled and tapped for a scope? I'm thinking this would be my heavy rifle for African hunting.
