I am shooting 150 Hornady. I never shot any other weight. My milder loads shoot quite a bit off from PPU factory 150. I imagine the POI with 174 would be off even more. On the No5, I raised up the sight. Going by memory using 300 yd setting for 100 yd zero. My No1 has a Parker Hale rear aperture sight and was able to zero that. Oddly, I had to bring that sight down. The rear tangent sight is still on the gun and that was pretty close to right on with my mild handloads while PPU would have been low. I know that seem the carbine was opposite the rifle.

My constructive comment is I am getting good accuracy with 150. I am new to shooing both of these and not working with a lot of brass. I think I am seeing 1 MOA with the No1, using the excellent (no drill, no tap) target sights.

My handloads are neck sized, which means dedicated to a specific gun. That has me headspacing on the shoulder not the rim. Hopefully best accuracy and longer case life.

I remember, I am using 6 oclock holds with both guns and set zero at different ranges. Th 150's shoot great, sorry - to much babble on POI,
