I've had good results in the .303 with the 150 gr. Hornady and Varget, IMR4895, and IMR3031. I've never been concerned where the POI was in relation to the rear sight range markings. Just get a good load and zero the rifle, If you want to shoot at longer ranges zero for the longer range and record the sight settings. I have found the No.4 adjustable sight to be reasonably repeatable for changing settings since they are a well-made sight.
