I moved away from the G20 because of the size, so I replaced it with the G29. I would use factory ammo when carrying because of the realizability issues. I sold the 29 because I didn’t like shooting it much. A few years later I bought the XDm 10mm which I really like. When it was time to load up the pack and go hunting I always choose a smaller and lighter 9mm in stead of the 10mm. I’ve now decided to trip the 10mm all together and go with a smaller lighter package in 40. Probably the G23 or M&P compact.
