I stopped by a local Ace Hardware on the way home from the range last week. They had Federal Small Pistol Magnum Match primers (no others) for $50 a brick, so I got one, since I've been looking to start some work with my .357s. I'm fat on rifle primers but a little short on pistol. They also had a shelf full of RL-23 for $35/pound with no limit. I called my buddy and asked if he needed any and he did, so 5 pounds went in my cart. Got to the checkout and my military discount took off another 10%. No shipping, no HAZMAT. They probably could have charged more for those but they didn't. Things are looking up...
That Ace is a good outfit, and I'll keep using them when they get stuff in stock. I drop by on the way home from the range every time, just for a shelf check.
