Humans originally were "lactose intolerant" when they became adults. Around 8,000 years ago a mutation occurred letting adults digest milk. This was so valuable for survival that the mutation quickly spread through Europeans, about 90% of whom have the mutation. A different mutation that does the same thing spread throughout Africa.
Digesting milk is definitely an advantage for human health. Evolution proves it.
