My aunt, about as extreme left as they come, lives in Seattle. While she makes every excuse in the world for the scumbags who control Seattle, she appears to finally be seeing the light. In the past few weeks, she's complained that the homeless and Antifa have turned downtown into a sheit filled ghost town (for shopping and wandering) and complained about taxes.
Of course, I asked her if she sees the connection between voting for people who promise to bring high taxes and homelessness and her current complaints. She won't respond, but it's clear that she's trying to reconcile her politics with reality.
She'll continue voting (D), cause that's what her masters at PMSNBC and CNN tell her, but there is at least hope that the next generation who are living this stuff will see what she refuses to see.
