I once had Leupold Custom Shot adjust parallax adjusted to 200 yards on a Varmint Scope. On a Big Game Rifle I don’t worry about it as a Parallax Calculator will tell you how much the max shift there is at different yardages.
Just FYI a 40mm objective with Parallax adjusted to 100 yards max error at 500 yards is 3.15 inches.
