Hi all,
Larry here, I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. I know I hadn't been here a lot lately but surely see why I need to keep in touch more!!! I am truely overwhelmed but not surprised as I have seen it here before. The true warmth of this campfire never diminishes. I am currently at Prividence Hospital in Anchorage and found a 'puter to use.

Here is how things are going right now:

Heather was taken to the local hospital in Soldotna Saturday afternoon after being struck by a car and it was Imediately determined that she needed to be medevaced to Anchorage for imediate emergency surgery. She has a fractured skull and a broken leg with some internal bruising of the abdominal area. They operated Saturday night to remove a blood clot from her brain and from what Heather's mother told me that went well. Sunday was a hard day here and I was told that it looked very grim at the time, even though the previous surgury went as planned. I arrived Monday to see Heather looking very bad but was praying and thankful that she was still alive. Tuesday looked a little better but was still told not to get our hopes too high. They also wanted to release here from the induced coma they were keeping here in to see if she was still there. the good news was revealed when she moved here leg at the sound of my voice!!! (She was still in there) We had some trouble that night and it got rather tense for a while but things worked out. Wednesday and Wednesday night were quite good and things continued to improve. Today (Thursday) we were told that she was looking good enough to try for surgery on her leg and possibly remove the "Bolt" (for measuring Cranial pressure) on Friday.

I want to thank everyone again and let you know I do beleive in the power of prayer and it is working!!! there are too many to thank individually right now but do want to make some acknowledgements.

Melodi:

Thank you for your offer and we are still looking into Sherry visiting sometime.

Waders:

Tell that little girl we love here and thank her for her prayers. I have seen the improvement in Tex since she has been praying for Mr. Widders and know God has been listening to her this time too. Just something abouth that connection between God and the little ones!

The Anchorage bunch:

I thank you all for your generocity and may just call all of you just to sit down a while and visit. I hope Art just keeps those hairy guys away. (grin) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Just one more thing. Sherry and I have been planning on moving up here for a while and did have plans to get re-located next year. Since Heather will be in the Hospital for at least a Month, need extended care afterward in Anchorage and my being between jobs just seems like God's message that I am needed here sooner. So Sherry and I have decided that I will be moving as soon as I return, which is as soon as I see my little girls eyes and know she is out of danger. Won't she be surprised!!! Thank you and may God bless all of you, including those I knew viewed this thread with a misty eye but didn't post.
