Maybe I missed it: who are the American civilians left in Afghanistan? Why are they there? Who advised them to remain after Jan 1, 2021?
That is a very good question. I have not seen this addressed in the media. Every American in that country knew, 8 months ago, that it was all over and it was just a matter of time. Why didn't they get out?
